Why Beast in Balance Exists: A New Approach to Health, Wellbeing, and Style for Professional Beasts!
Picture this, it’s 7 pm – you’re still in the office. Your gym bag is sitting in a corner of your wardrobe at home. You’re wearing the same tired suit from last week. You’re caffeine hit from your earlier coffee has just worn off, and you’re now crashing.
You’re tired, burnt out, and you can’t seem to find a way out of this vicious cycle of eat, sleep, work, repeat.
Professional men often juggle demanding careers, personal goals, and societal expectations, leaving little room for health, mental clarity, or personal style.
That’s why I created Beast in Balance—a space for us professional beasts who want to thrive, not just survive, by balancing their health, wellbeing, and style with their professional routines. A space where you know you’re not alone, a space where you’re part of a community of like-minded individuals
My story: The spark behind wanting to create a balanced beast
In early 2024, I was burnt out in my corporate job, skipping workouts, eating anything and everything, and dressing like I didn’t care. I looked successful on paper; however, I felt anything but.
That same year, I got married and bought my first home with my now wife – two milestones in life that would normally be cause for elation and joy. However, these joys were short-lived with a corporate mind so focused on success that I was neglecting the me outside of work. Anything but balanced.
At the time, I felt like I had to struggle through the mud. That this was just a part of life. If I wanted success, then the suffering was part of the price I had to pay to achieve that. However, I realized that this scenario wasn’t unique to me. Many professional men face similar struggles—feeling like they have to choose between career success and personal well-being. That needn’t be the case any longer, I’ve created this blog to help bring balance to the force (you could call me the chosen one)… (sorry)..
The Name
The “beast” represents ambition, strength, and drive; “balance” reflects the need for health, mindfulness, and style to sustain that energy. All qualities I feel resonate with most professional men
